This was Microsoft’s Code.Fun.Do, a hackathon conducted annually by Microsoft in IIT Bombay itself. It is a 24 hours event, where students along with mentors, who were Microsoft employees hacked in the SL1 and SL2 labs of the Computer Science department.
This was an introductory session to Python. Students were encouraged to build a tic-tac-toe app ground up using Python
Hack U is an event conducted by Yahoo! JAPAN exclusively for students from various universities all over the world. Students get a platform to develop their innovative ideas and showcase their talent. You can check out the event page here
This talk was based on the blog post written by Aman Goel- https://medium.com/@amangoeliitb/build-a-solid-career-in-tech-without-a-cs-major-39cdef86013#.nmx11184b which was widely read. Sumith Kulal also accompanied him to pitch in a few facts about the Google Summer of Code program. The overall agenda was to get a roadmap to prepare for tech internships and jobs.
Google I/O Extended -experience of the magic and innovation of Google I/O remotely. Part viewing experience and part community building, I/O Extended programme included everything from live streaming the Google I/O content to local developer demos and speaker sessions.
